Training course
•The detectors and their issues organized by the LabEX FOCUS, OHP, Haute-Provence, France, 2021
→ Characterization of a CCD detector (SBIG camera);
→ Night observations on several instruments including the T120 and the COLIBRI telescopes.
•The Artificial Intelligence for astrophysics in the age of the big data, Online, 2020
→ Lectures and practical sessions on machine learning supervised by Prof. Marc Huertas-Company.
Work experience
2021
• Test campaign of the SVOM/MXT Spare Model, SOLEIL synchrotron, Gif-sur-Yvette, France
→ Energy calibration and spectral performance from 0.3 to 1.8 keV;
→ Quantum efficiency at different positions on the detector;
→ Charge transfer efficiency of the detector.
• Science performance tests of the SVOM/MXT Flight Model, MPE Panter facility, Munich, Germany
→ Energy calibration and spectral performance of the detector;
→ Quantum efficiency of the complete instrument (optic + detector).
• Calibration of the low threshold (~ 4 keV) of the SVOM/ECLAIRs flight detector, CNES, Toulouse, France
→ Handling of the setup in clean room;
→ Several shifts during the campaign.
2019
6-month internship: Preparation of the energy calibration of the SVOM/MXT flight model detector, CEA Saclay, France
Supervisor: Dr. Aline Meuris
→ Development and optimization of a setup based on an X-ray tube to generate fluorescence lines;
→ Characterization of the MXT Performance Model;
→ Data processing including image reduction and spectral analysis of the calibration campaigns.
2018
3-month internship: A new test bench for the CMS Pixel Luminosity Telescope, CERN, Geneva, Switzerland
Supervisor: Dr. Andrés Delannoy and Dr. Andreas Kornmayer
→ Development, optimization and production of a test bench to quickly test the PLT silicon sensors;
→ Qualification of a first batch of silicon sensors.
2017
Summer internship: The Taffy galaxies (UGC 12914/5), ObAs, Strasbourg, France
Supervisor: Dr. Bernd Vollmer
→ Study of the molecular gas bridge between Taffy galaxies;
→ Comparison between observational data and numerical simulations to find common properties;
→ Study of the collision conditions in numerical simulations to understand the formation of the gas bridge.
